Heather Maxwell, MHCS, CEO Heather Maxwell, a Master Human Capital Strategist and the CEO of Maxwell Management Group Ltd., has extensive industry experience having enjoyed an 18+ year career holding senior positions in human resources as well as operations for international organizations and professional firms. Having the highest regard for human capital as a differentiating factor in an organization, Heather has successfully recruited and led management teams that have hired numerous high-calibre individuals to fill a variety of key positions across several sectors. Heather has been recognized for leading a team that recruited 5000 people in one year for 52 new sites – a first for the Canadian market! Heather is known for her strong customer service focus as well as her unparalleled standards and ethics in recruitment. Heather is also fully certified as an MBTI Practitioner. Paula Cavan holds an Honours B.A. in Sociology from McMaster University as well as a Career Development Practitioner certificate from Conestoga College. She is a qualified user of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), has facilitated groups from 2 to 200, and always takes the unique needs of her audience into consideration when building presentations or programs. Paula has over 10 years of experience in the social profit, government and educational sectors. Paula heads up Maxwell Management Group’s Career and Talent Management Division and works with businesses and individuals who want to remain competitive in a global market by providing team building workshops as well as resume and career consultations.
As a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Psychology, Gary has worked with large populations of both unionized and non-unionized employees for over 10 years. Through these years, he has been promoted through ever-progressive roles, including the position of Director of Human Resources. Gary brings with him exceptional experience in all aspects of human resources, providing a keen focus on labour relations as well as recruitment and retention. Gary pursued his continued education with the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario and obtained his Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation in 2006.
Lori has 18 years of leadership expertise as well as the experience of being both an operations manager as well as a hiring manager, working for international organizations and professional firms. Lori approaches her role as Recruitment Manager at Maxwell Management Group with a real-world understanding of the issues and concerns facing front-line managers on a daily basis. She has felt the challenges of understaffing and the difficulty of finding quality people. She understands that lack of talent only causes a loss of profit and productivity to the organization.
With a strong customer service focus and a sense of urgency, Lori leads a team of recruiters at Maxwell Management Group who are committed to building the careers of executives and professionals by marrying top employers with talented, performance-oriented candidates whose needs and objectives are compatible.
Within Maxwell’s Executive Search Practice, Sandy is responsible for both client development and management of the search process. Sandy brings to the current team an unbridled passion for her profession and an ardent commitment to providing exceptional service.
Greg holds a Diploma in Business Administration - Management Studies and a post-graduate certificate in Career Development, both from Conestoga College. His professional career includes over nine years in public relations and marketing roles in both the healthcare and social profit sectors. He has led a progressive marketing campaign that aimed to challenge public perception of careers in the skilled trades and technologies. He has also sat on several advisory groups that studied the impending shortage of skilled trade and technology professionals in Ontario. From this experience Greg has gained an understanding of the challenges that organizations face when recruiting and retaining top talent to meet their current and future business needs. At Maxwell Management Group Greg is responsible for both client development and conducting the search process. He works as a business partner with clients to develop innovative recruitment solutions. He also works closely with candidates and provides career consultation to help them identify and achieve their career goals. Gerry has 12 years of expertise as a graphic designer and 5 years of experience as a college professor in this arena.
